We are committed to providing you with the best care possible. This goal is best achieved by having all parties aware of our financial policy, which is an agreement between Mountain View Pediatrics and the child's parent or guardian. A clear understanding of the financial agreement is important to our professional relationship.

Health Insurance is a contract between you, your employer, and your insurance company. It is important for you to be an informed consumer who understand the specifications of your insurance policy. For example - vaccine and physician visit coverage, referral/authorization requirements for specialty care, radiography, laboratory tests, emergency hospital care, etc...

Please have your insurance card with you at the time of your visit. Payment for services is due at the time they are rendered, except as outlined below. Insurance plans vary considerably, and we cannot predict or guarantee what part of our services will or will not be covered. As always, if you are unsure of your coverage, please contact our billing office prior to your appointment and we will try our best to help you understand your coverage. If we file your claim, you are responsible only for the co-payment amount at the time of the visit.

For private-pay patients, or those without insurance; full payment is due at the time of service from the accompanying parent of guardian. We understand that there are special circumstances that may arise, and encourage you to contact our billing department promptly to discuss the management of your account if needed.
