Should a life-threatening emergency arise (child cannot breathe, major trauma/laceration) you should call 911 immediately.

Most of life's problems are less severe, and we maintain 24 hour coverage, 7 days a week, 365 days a year in order to help you through urgent problems that eventually come up from time to time. If our office is open, simply call and arrangements will be made to care for your child.

If our office is closed, please call our main number and our answering service will place you in contact with our Pediatric Triage Line where a Registered Nurse, trained in pediatric urgent and emergency care will consult with you. One of our physicians is always on call, and if the triage nurse feels that your child should be seen immediately, she will put you in touch with our on-call physician. No system is 100% perfect, and if you have waited 30 minutes and have not been called back, please phone the office again.

Please keep in mind that our after-hours telephone is for urgent and emergency problems. Questions concerning office hours, routine appointments, and accounting questions should be made when the office is open.
