Lauren Hayward, MD FAAP
Dr. Lauren Hayward was excited to join Mountain View Pediatrics in July 2016. She grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and looked forward to visiting Flagstaff and Sedona every summer. For her undergraduate studies, she attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated with honors in integrative Biology. After college, she spent a year abroad in Mumbai, India and Johannesburg, South Africa. She then moved to New Orleans, where she attended medical school at Tulane University and married her husband, David. During her time in that one-of-a-kind city, Dr. Hayward fell in love with southern culture, food, and jazz music, as well as the field of pediatrics.
Dr. Hayward believes that the most important and enjoyable part of practicing medicine is connecting with patients and their families. She loves seeing all the forms loving families can take. She is also an LGBTQ+ ally and believes that all patients deserve equal care, regardless of race, religion, ability, size, sexual orientation or gender identity.
